Around the world in 30 seconds
According to the laws of the Big Disney Castle, each Princess must live in her own separate ‘world’. This poses a challenge when tasked with promoting a variety of different Princess products, all together in one spot. Given the ‘explore your world’ theme, a story about a girl leaving home, traveling through a series of Princess worlds and returning home again was an obvious fit. The challenge was to pull her journey together into a cohesive whole — and what’s more cohesive than a single shot?
We opted to achieve as much as possible in-camera; shooting motion-control on a large set with practical scenic paintings for a timeless Disney quality. VFX were used sparingly to combine takes, remove wires and fit 400 products on the end page.
