Girls just wanna have fun (with consumer products)
The goal of this campaign was to pull together a variety of Disney characters, partners and products through a unifying theme, aimed at young girls. Previous campaigns had featured older girls doing quite grown-up things (archery, high-diving, etc). We wanted to reflect who girls are now, not who they should be - so opted for more relatable stories, rooted in the products themselves.
Shot mainly in Portugal (and at my kids’ school) we got 15 commercials and an extensive digital toolkit out of 6 days filming - despite a vomiting bug sweeping through the crew. I’ll never eat prawns on a set again.
