Surprise Christmas presence
Argos wanted a Christmas unwrapping film for their social channels and I wanted to capture kids’ authentic reactions to surprise presents - equivalent to discovering their stockings on Christmas morning.
To that end, we hid an array of cameras in kids’ bedrooms - which sounds creepy and is creepy. After cutting out all the nappy changes, naked dances and tantrums we condensed 1600 hours of footage into a one minute film. It was seen by 1.3m people on Facebook - more than twice the number who watched Argos’ above-the-line TV ad.
